It finally happened, 2020 is over. Hopefully 2021 has more good in store than bad for the world. But, we would be pretty lame if we didn’t stop for a second to appreciate the good things that happened in 2020.
First off, without quarantine Brotaco wouldn’t have become a thing. It only started because I was home more during the shutdowns and decided that I wanted a certain type of hot sauce that I just couldn’t find anywhere. So I made it and began giving it to my friends to try, one thing led to another and in 7 months we have shipped hundreds of bottles around the US and abroad to military bases. Not so bad for a quarantine hobby I must say.
Secondly, we have made some really cool connections with people through the hot sauce. We were able to not only start developing a core community but we have started branching out further and are really excited where this journey is going to take us. We are still very small and working our way up, but the amount of support Brotaco has gotten has been truly humbling. So, THANK YOU for all of your support and patience during those slow fulfillment times due to suppliers running short, god that was a nightmare. But we got through it all and we are stronger because of it.
This year has been a year for intense learning and growth, and creative development. I hope 2021 brings us great things but I know that because of 2020’s hard times we have become stronger because of it.
So, raise your glass and cheers to the good times and the hard times because we aren’t here for a long time!
